Resumo: The author bring into focus, through philosophic arguments, the subject of morals not necessarily connected with religion. Providing examples of own religious commandments, demonstrates that the working out of coherent, consistent and applicable ethical system don’t need to be entailed to any religion, offering examples of moral codes produced by atheistic philosophers. He concluded asserting that all moral decision must be based in three elements: knowledge, feeling and, above all, total freedom and exemption of making choices.

O autor demonstra, dando exemplos dos mandamentos religiosos trabalhando com sistema ético coerente, consistente e aplicável, que não precisa haver uma ligação obrigatória com qualquer religião. Além disso, exemplifica com o código moral produzido por filósofos ateístas. Conclui que toda decisão moral deve ser embasada, fundamentalmente, em três elementos: o máximo de conhecimento tempero do sentimento e da emoção humana e sobretudo da total liberdade e isenção para fazer escolha.Universidade de São Paulo.
