Resumo: | The service sector underwent important developmental changes in the last decade. Contemporary life has produced increasingly demanding and participative customers regarding the service creation process. As such, companies turned towards new methodologies or instruments to expand their innovation strategies. Thus, as libraries are organisms that deliver informational services, it becomes opportune to evaluate and analyze their users’ impressions, expectations and needs, as well as to identify the librarians’ experiences, motivations and frustrations. This bibliographic survey, conducted on the Portal de Periódicos Capes, seeks to understand the Design Thinking approach used as an innovation principle and potential tool for redesigning library services, based on articles considered relevant by the number of citations in the literature. |

Devido à evolução da vida contemporânea, o cliente se tornou cada vez mais exigente e, com isso, mais participativo no processo de criação de serviços. Desse modo, as empresas precisaram utilizar novas metodologias ou instrumentos para ampliar suas estratégias de inovação. Portanto, como a biblioteca constitui um organismo que entrega serviços informacionais, torna-se oportuna a análise das impressões, expectativas e necessidades dos seus usuários, bem como a identificação das experiências, motivações e frustrações dos bibliotecários que nela trabalham. Assim, por meio de um levantamento bibliográfico, realizado no Portal de Periódicos Capes, o objetivo deste trabalho é compreender a abordagem do Design Thinking utilizada como princípio de inovação e potencial ferramenta para o reprojeto dos serviços de bibliotecas, a partir de artigos considerados relevantes, segundo a quantidade de vezes citados na literatura.Universidade de São Paulo.
