Resumo: Currently, the Physical Education Professional (EDF) faces significant changes in his job market. In view of the new scenario, it is essential for this class of professionals to develop entrepreneurial skills. This study aimed to investigate the entrepreneurial potential of undergraduate (LI) and Bachelor (BA) undergraduate students in EDF in the city of Porto Velho. The entrepreneurial potential was assessed using the Entrepreneurial Potential Assessment Scale. The sample consisted of 61 students from BA and 101 from LI in EDF (total 162 students), aged between 18 and 65 years. Of these, 76 were in the first half (INI) and 86 were in the second half (FIN) of the course. For data analysis, descriptive and inferential statistics were used. The Wilcoxon Mann-Whitney test (independent samples) was used to compare the groups (BA versus LI; and INI versus FIN), using a value of p≤0.05 to indicate statistical significance. The results indicated that 134 respondents (83%) presented entrepreneurial potential considered very strong, with a score of 8 to 10. No differences were found in the entrepreneurial profile when comparing the data by type of course (BA: 8.16 ± 1.16) ; (LI: 8.23 ± 1.05), or stage of the course (INI: 8.23 ± 1.06); (FIN: 8.20 ± 1.12). It is concluded that regardless of the training (LI / BA) or stage of the course, EDF students from Porto Velho present entrepreneurial potential considered strong and very strong.
