Representations of the Spanish language by Language and Literature’s undergraduate students

Resumo: | This paper intends to analyze representations the students of Languages and Literature (Letras-Espanhol-PARFOR) have of Spanish, focusing on the two more recurrent ones, as well the implications of these for their formation as teachers. Therefore, we take advantage of Bakhtin’s interpretation (2009) and his concept of ideology, considering it as something inherent in the representations, which arise and/or will arise, since when we think we speak dialogically, because even the inner discourse brings voices of others, the statement will always refer to the interaction between a self, another and an object. Then, based on Moscovici (1978, 2005, 2009), we will discuss his studies on social representation and its phenomenon of social representations, seek to bring the concept to this term. This is a qualitative research, developed from a corpus consisting of five students, collected through recorded interviews and transcribed. It was concluded that the prominent representations in the informants’ speech occur based on the attribution of a feeling of ease x difficulty in the process of acquisition of the Spanish language, as well as in relation to the communicative linguistic domain. |

Baseou-se no conceito de ideologia de Bakhtin (2009), que foi considerado como algo inerente às representações que surgem e/ou surgirão, uma vez que, quando se pensa, se enuncia dialogicamente. Além disso, considerou-se Moscovici (1978; 2005; 2009) e seus estudos sobre a representação social. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, desenvolvida a partir do corpus constituído por dizeres de cinco participantes, coletado através de entrevistas que foram gravadas e transcritas. Concluiu-se, que as representações de destaque na fala dos informantes ocorrem com base na atribuição de uma facilidade x dificuldade no processo de aquisição da língua espanhola, bem como em relação ao domínio linguístico comunicativo.Universidade de São Paulo.
