The impasses of the feminine and possible intertwining with maternity

Resumo: Even face the cultural changes and achievement of rights for women, the common sense dictates that a woman is only complete when she becomes a mother. From such premise, this research addresses the impasses between motherhood and femininity, based on the psychoanalytic theories of Freud and Lacan, and works with the possibility the motherhood represents a phallic position. Thus, it would not be able to deal with femininity. What are the meetings and disagreements in such relation between being a mother and being a woman? Besides psychoanalysis, we mention the poetry of Francisco Buarque de Hollanda, known for its female lyrical selves.

A partir de esta premisa, la investigación plantea los contratiempos entre la maternidad y lo femenino, basándose en las teorías psicoanalíticas de Freud y Lacan, y trabaja con la posibilidad de que la maternidad pueda representar una posición fálica. Así, la maternidad no tendría como abarcar las feminidades. ¿Cuáles son los encuentros y desencuentros en esa relación entre ser madre y ser mujer? Se recurre además en este texto a la poesía de Francisco Buarque de Hollanda, conocidopor sus yo líricos femeninos.Mesmo diante de mudanças culturais e conquistas de direitos para as mulheres, ouve-se, no senso comum, que a mulher só se completa ao ser mãe. Partindo desta premissa, a pesquisa aborda os impasses entre a maternidade e o feminino, ancorando-se nas teorias psicanalíticas de Freud e de Lacan, e trabalha a possibilidade de a maternidade poder representar uma posição fálica. Assim, ela não teria como dar conta das feminilidades. Quais os encontros e desencontros nessa relação entre ser mãe e ser mulher?
