Resumo: Este trabalho teve como temática a estatística inserida na vida dos alunos por meio da mídia educacional, mais especificamente o computador com o software de editor de planilhas BrOffice Calc, neste trabalho encontra-se as definições, formulas para calculo manual e formulas para o editor de planilha BrOffice Calc de média, mediana e moda, e definições de tabela e gráficos, e também exemplos de utilização dos mesmos. Este documento é uma breve introdução ao método de utilização da estatística com uma mídia educacional, servindo como base para um desenvolvimento mais amplo desta ferramenta. E também um pouco da história da estatística.
