Resumo: The objective of this research is to report the interaction experience of 9th-grade students in a municipal school in the state of São Paulo using the educational platform Hypatiamat, specifically regarding the content related to the Pythagorean theorem. This action research was developed with 24 students, mediated by the teacher, in the school's computer lab, and it had the main purpose to follow the evolution of the participants' learning while using the platform. The research steps consisted of applying a diagnostic assessment on the content related to the Pythagorean theorem, before and after the students' interaction with the platform; in the use of this resource for a period of ten classes in which they were monitored and measured by the researcher professor; and, finally, in the application of a questionnaire about the performed experience. The results showed that most students, around 87.49%, had satisfactorily learned the proposed content through the Hypatiamat Platform. From the answers to the questionnaire, it was also possible to infer that the students liked and would use this resource again during classes, despite frequently opting for the expository method, typical of traditional teaching, especially when the activity requires more complex reading skills. Therefore, we can conclude that the platform favoured and contributed to the students' learning once, through the monitoring and evaluations carried out by the teacher, we verified that the students understood the concepts involved in the exercises and developed the calculations correctly.

Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR)Pereira de Farias, Ruth LeiaPelissari Monteiro Aguiar Baroni, Mariana2021-04-14info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionPesquisaçãoapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.utfpr.edu.br/actio/article/view/1002710.3895/actio.v6n1.10027ACTIO: Teaching in Sciences; v. 6, n. 1 (2021); 1-19ACTIO: Docência em Ciências; v. 6, n. 1 (2021); 1-192525-892310.3895/actio.v6n1reponame:Actio (Curitiba)instname:Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR)instacron:UTFPRporhttps://periodicos.utfpr.edu.br/actio/article/view/10027/8317Direitos autorais 2021 CC-BYhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2022-10-18T23:38:27Zoai:periodicos.utfpr:article/10027Revistahttps://periodicos.utfpr.edu.br/actio/PUBhttps://periodicos.utfpr.edu.br/actio/oaimarcelolambach@utfpr.edu.br||actio-ct@utfpr.edu.br||periodicos@utfpr.edu.br2525-89232525-8923opendoar:2022-10-18T23:38:27Actio (Curitiba) - Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR)false
