Resumo: | This essay proposes the school as a ‘in-between-places’ regarding the three educative worlds: a unique world, a dual world and a plural world. The school is increasingly challenged to manage a plural world boosted throughout the 20th century by the mass schooling, by the juvenilization of the world, the decolonization of minds and self-mediation of the world. It is proposed that the school mission is to manage dissociation and translate it into dissonance and then into commitments. It is considered that the dissonance is the social in construction and the conviviality of the dissonant in a fragile translation is the human destiny itself. Finally, some educational methodologies are suggested to face this challenge. Keywords: education, dissonance, translation. |

The plural world: Education as dissonance and translationO mundo plural: a educação como dissonância e traduçãoThis essay proposes the school as a ‘in-between-places’ regarding the three educative worlds: a unique world, a dual world and a plural world. Unisinos2016-04-07info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.unisinos.br/index.php/calidoscopio/article/view/cld.2016.141.14Calidoscópio; Vol. 14 No. 1 (2016): January/April; 159-165Calidoscópio; v. 14 n. 1 (2016): Janeiro/Abril; 159-1652177-6202reponame:Calidoscópio (Online)instname:Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS)instacron:Unisinosporhttps://revistas.unisinos.br/index.php/calidoscopio/article/view/cld.2016.141.14/5207Seixas, Paulo Castroinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2016-04-28T19:18:54Zoai:ojs2.revistas.unisinos.br:article/9965Revistahttps://revistas.unisinos.br/index.php/calidoscopioPUBhttps://revistas.unisinos.br/index.php/calidoscopio/oaicmira@unisinos.br || cmira@unisinos.br2177-62022177-6202opendoar:2016-04-28T19:18:54Calidoscópio (Online) - Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS)false |
