Resumo: | The article analyzes actual data of talk-in-interaction in a conflict situation and proposes to combine the formulation practice in ethnomethodological Conversation Analysis to the interactional perspective of argument. In a pilot qualitative case study, we follow the trajectory of an argumentative process of a combined sale in a conciliation hearing at PROCON. We specifically show how the (re)formulations are connected to the (re)introduction of positions and supports. We argue that both complement each other because, as the argument is a basic function of language and central in the legal world, the formulation is also an important practice because it is present in all contexts. We defend interaction as a privileged locus of human experience. Keywords: formulation practice, argumentative strategy, interaction in conflict situation. |

The (re)formulation practice as an argumentative strategy in conflict situationA prática de (re)formulação como estratégia argumentativa em situação de conflitoThe article analyzes actual data of talk-in-interaction in a conflict situation and proposes to combine the formulation practice in ethnomethodological Conversation Analysis to the interactional perspective of argument. In a pilot qualitative case study, we follow the trajectory of an argumentative process of a combined sale in a conciliation hearing at PROCON. We specifically show how the (re)formulations are connected to the (re)introduction of positions and supports. We defend interaction as a privileged locus of human experience. Unisinos2016-08-01info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.unisinos.br/index.php/calidoscopio/article/view/cld.2016.142.14Calidoscópio; Vol. 14 No. 2 (2016): May/August; 317-331Calidoscópio; v. 14 n. 2 (2016): Maio/Agosto; 317-3312177-6202reponame:Calidoscópio (Online)instname:Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS)instacron:Unisinosporhttps://revistas.unisinos.br/index.php/calidoscopio/article/view/cld.2016.142.14/5569Vieira, Amitza TorresGago, Paulo Cortesinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2016-11-01T19:02:03Zoai:ojs2.revistas.unisinos.br:article/11243Revistahttps://revistas.unisinos.br/index.php/calidoscopioPUBhttps://revistas.unisinos.br/index.php/calidoscopio/oaicmira@unisinos.br || cmira@unisinos.br2177-62022177-6202opendoar:2016-11-01T19:02:03Calidoscópio (Online) - Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS)false |
