Resumo: The aim of this paper is to think about children’s participation in the society whereas childhood still has a subordinate position in the broad social discussion. The researches and politics proposals often consider children within the family or the school. Therefore, it is central to reflect on the meaning and importance the childhood to bring about other perspectives and social practices, policies and economics for children, since this generational category is essential for the development of society.
