Assessing food services at the university is extremely essential and this service should take as relevant to students' perceptions. Thus, we aim to establish how the relationship between variables about student satisfaction with the menu and service provided in a university restaurant in the Northeast of Brazil is presented. To this end, a cross-sectional study was carried out with 674 diners (97% of students) through the application of a questionnaire with questions regarding satisfaction with the service and the menu offered. We conclude that among the countless variables that are related to enable the satisfaction of diners, the students were not uniformly satisfied with the service and the menu.
