The highly competitive environment created by transformations in the globalized world has been demanding postural changes from people and organizations of Brazilian and global aviation. The world has been undergoing changes with regard to organizations, or they adapt to the new era, or they will be doomed to failure. In this sense, the present work aims to address the influence of stress on the quality of life in the work of the crew. To achieve the proposed objective, a bibliographic research was carried out, in which bibliographic data were collected through the consultation of sources such as books, articles and monographs. The approach used to analyze the collected data is qualitative. Through the research carried out, it can be affirmed that the quality of life at work serves as a management tool, because happy, motivated and satisfied people produce more and better, because they like what they do and the environment in which they work. Thus, the maintenance of quality of life at work becomes an indispensable tool for the management of aviation companies, since it enables managers to identify the strengths and weaknesses of various aspects of people management, including leadership, communication, work environment, interpersonal relationships, among others, and through this information have a solid database for decision making.
