The present work aims to analyze the experiences of reading cultivation in the formation of personality, in the maturation of emotional intelligence and in improving the ability to resolve conflicts of the protagonist of the series Anne with an E, from Netflix. The research constitutes a qualitative bibliographic case study and is based on the studies of Gallian (2017), Compagnon (2009), Todorov (2009), Oatley (2016) and Jaeger (2001) on the importance of cultivating reading and the teaching of literature. The study presents four examples, albeit fictional, of the benefit of cultivating reading in the formation of personality, in the maturation of emotional intelligence and in improving the ability to resolve conflicts and overcome adversity.
