Resumo: As an innovative legislation, Law 13.465/2017 brought to the national legal system a new real right, the so-called real right of slab; However, much is discussed about the application of common institutes of the Law of Things to the slab law, and the object of the work is the application of the usucapion institute, focusing on the possibility of usucapirating slabs of public real estate. The doctrine has not yet consolidated position on the subject, with pros and cons arguments, while jurisprudence is still timid to the theme of slab law.
