Resumo: Beyond the contemporary discourses thatpredict digitization in all spheres of sociallife, beyond whether or not institutionaleducational contexts promote the use ofschool textbooks, beyond the demands offamilies, beyond all that, the school textbookslast in the classrooms by the handof the teachers. With a relevant role, manytimes, school textbooks are like an invisiblethread that supports numerousconcerns of teachers. However, their invisibilitydoes not consist in the fact thatthey are not seen but in the fact that theirimportance in the organization of teachingis not noticed. This article analyzes aplurality of teaching practices of SocialSciences at the primary level associatedwith the use of textbooks through whichteachers not only recreate school knowledge,but also generate diverse contexts ofclassroom.

Con un papel relevante, muchas veces, los textos escolares son como un hilo invisible que brinda sostén a numerosas inquietudes de los/las docentes. Sin embargo, su invisibilidad no consiste en que no son vistos sino en que no se advierte su importancia en la organización de la enseñanza.
