Resumo: | We have seen, through data from the Higher Education Census (INEP, 2020), a significant increase in distance courses and in the number of students in this modality. This article, precisely, consists of an experience report that aimed to ponder and describe the process of managing people in a Online Learning Center, considering the need to organize a multidisciplinary team. The authors' experience as online learning managers demonstrates that it is essential to identify the countless necessary professionals, compose strategies for an integrated teamwork and that there is support in the organizational structure through an informational system that helps in the logistics of the processes. As final considerations, we emphasize the observation of three essential factors that need to be aligned, namely: the choice of the professional, the valorization of the work developed by the team and the development of the production system. They are representative elements of organizational behavior that can ensure greater efficiency and effectiveness in the result of the work. Keywords: Team work. Multidisciplinary team. Online learning.Temos visto, por meio dos dados do Censo da Educação Superior, o aumento significativo dos cursos a distância e do número de alunos nessa modalidade. Este artigo consiste num relato de experiência que teve como objetivo descrever como ocorre o processo de gestão de pessoas num Centro de Educação a Distância, considerando a necessidade de organização de uma equipe multidisciplinar. A experiência das autoras como gestores da EAD demonstra que é imprescindível que sejam identificados os inúmeros profissionais necessários para o funcionamento adequado do setor, pensadas algumas estratégias para um trabalho em equipe integrado e que haja suporte na estrutura organizacional através de um sistema informacional que auxilie na logística dos processos. Como considerações finais, ressaltamos a observação a três fatores essenciais que precisam estar alinhados, quais sejam: a escolha do profissional, a valorização do trabalho desenvolvido pela equipe e o desenvolvimento do sistema de produção. Estes são elementos representativos do comportamento organizacional que poderão garantir uma maior eficiência e eficácia no resultado do trabalho. Palavras-chave: Trabalho em equipe.
