Resumo: | This article theme comes up within the difficulties faced in the coronavirus pandemic, highlighting the necessity to continue the didactical program without using physical classrooms. Initially, the fast inclusion of digital information and communication technologies, as a manner of contouring social distance impacts into learning, is discussed pointing out fundamental warnings and strategies which teachers need to keep in mind. From this point, a reflection based in Ausubel theory is done, where the meaning of concepts and students’ previous knowledge are fundamental. Yet, pertinent points comprising the novel interaction between teacher-student are briefly discussed based in Vygotsky’s ideas. Regarding this work, it is possible to conclude that the teacher role is susceptible to unimaginable challenges, as the necessity of a fast self-reinvent. Moreover, Ausubel and Vygotsky theories and thoughts demonstrate to be immune to time circumstances, being useful to build initial and long-term planning amid a pandemic. Keywords: COVID-19. SARS-CoV-2. Teaching. Digital information and communication technology. |
