Academic trajectories of students of the Interdisciplinary Bachelor and the Psychology Bachelor: analysis of transcripts

Resumo: | In this article we analyze the transcripts of 31 Interdisciplinary Bachelor (IB) graduates doing a transition to the Psychology Bachelor of UFBA, in 2012 and 2013, compared to 95 transcripts of students that directly went to the course through the university entrance exam, on the same years. The comparison between the two groups was carried out considering: the use of Curricular Components in the first three semesters of IB, regardless if the student attended an area of concentration or not; and, course grades. The IB graduates satisfactorily followed the CCs, with no significant difference when compared to the averages of approval (grades) between groups. That means you can complete the course, which lasts five years minimum, with only three additional years, after three years of IB, depending on what subjects are validated from the IB. Thus, an IB graduate, after three years of training, can finish their Psychology course meeting three to four additional years, with the advantage of having made a mature and conscious choice from within the university and not prior to it. |

La comparacion entre los dos grupos se llevo a cabo teniendo en cuenta: el uso de los componentes curriculares en los tres primeros semestres del GI, habiendo el estudiante asistido o no a un area de concentracion; y, sus coeficientes de rendimiento. Los graduados del GI completaran los CC satisfactoriamente, sin diferencias significativas en comparacion a los promedios de aprobacion (notas) entre los grupos. Se puede concluir ese curso, cuya duracion es de cinco años, con tres años mas, dependiendo de lo que fue homologado del GI. Un egresado del GI puede completar su curso en Psicologia en entre tres y cuatro años, con la ventaja de haber hecho una eleccion madura y consciente dentro de la universidad.Analisam-se os historicos escolares de 31 egressos dos Bacharelados Interdisciplinares na transicao para o curso de Psicologia da Universidade Federal da Bahia, nos anos de 2012 e 2013, em comparação com os historicos escolares de 95 estudantes ingressantes neste curso diretamente pelo vestibular, nos mesmos anos. A comparação entre os dois grupos foi realizada considerando o aproveitamento de componentes curriculares nos tres primeiros semestres do curso de Bacharelado Interdisciplinar, tendo o estudante cursado ou nao uma Area de Concentração, e seus coeficientes de rendimento. Os egressos do Bacharelado Interdisciplinar acompanharam satisfatoriamente os componentes, sem diferenca significativa em relação às medias de aprovação (notas) entre os grupos.
