PERMANENT EDUCATION IN HEALTH THROUGH DISTANCE EDUCATION: A BRIEF INTRODUCTION

Resumo: Permanent health education in Brazil is the end of public health policies and its integration to the Brazilian education policy through Distance Education provides opportunities of learning available throughout Brazil. Since it is an innovation technology it greatly benefits the Brazilian health system. Education flexibility through Distance Education for the teaching/learning process of professionals has significance importance, since the given service quality will bring forth relevant changes in society where Distance Education may contribute towards the technical formation of health professionals. Current analysis reflects on permanent education in health through Distance Education on which a bibliographical review is performed, systematized with main works in scientific literature on this approach. Although the State provides a development in permanent education initiative through Distance Education, further studies should be enacted in field research that would present important assets for the initiative.

Integrá-la à política nacional de educação permanente através da Educação à Distância oferecendo oportunidades de aprendizado disponíveis em todo território nacional, por meio de uma tecnologia inovadora, poderá trazer enormes benefícios para o sistema de saúde brasileiro. Essa flexibilidade educacional através da Educação à Distância para o processo ensino/aprendizagem desse profissional passa a ter uma importância significativa, pois a qualidade do serviço prestado irá sofrer mudanças importantes para sociedade, onde a Educação à Distância poderá contribuir para a formação técnica dos profissionais de saúde. Nesse sentido, este trabalho possui como objetivo a reflexão sobre a educação permanente em saúde através da Educação à Distância, tema sobre o qual foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica sistematizada com os principais trabalhos na literatura científica que possuem essa abordagem.
