The Relationship of the Process of Health Team Works with their Users: Basic Guidelines about Food

Resumo: | The rehabilitation food project appeared after observing a basic health unit (UBS), the city of Juiz de Fora - MG, a big number of obese. Obesity is considered an epidemic that is independent of economic and social conditions. It is a chronic disease caused by genetic diseases, endocrine, metabolic, or by dietary, environmental factors, including the lifestyle. It is proposed the food reeducation with dietary habits changes in place of a drastic diet. Given the importance of the user's UBS to have access to appropriate nutrition guidance, a group of food reeducation was created composed by obese people, encouraging weight loss and improvement of life quality. This group was led by nursing and medicine academic students, a nurse and a nutritionist. In the meetings that were held weekly, made anthropometric measurements and the members divided their difficulties and victories on healthy eating. In one year, 38 people participated in the study, and only 22 remained until the end. Of these, 09 lost weight, 03 maintained and 10 had gained weight. In the evaluation with the group participants it may be emphasized that its development was satisfactory because the participants reported that the positive point was learning about the topics. The food rehabilitation group allowed the complexity recognition of the involved issues in the change process in dietary habits and lifestyle, as well as the importance of a work by a multi professional team integrated with the users. |

A obesidade é considerada uma epidemia que independe das condições econômicas e sociais. Ela é uma doença crônica, ocasionada por doenças genéticas, endócrinas, metabólicas ou, ainda, por fatores dietéticos, ambientais, incluindo a questão do estilo de vida. Propõe-se a reeducação alimentar com mudança de hábitos alimentares no lugar de regimes drásticos. Diante da importância de o usuário da UBS ter acesso a orientações adequadas sobre alimentação, foi criado um grupo de reeducação alimentar composto por pessoas obesas, incentivando o emagrecimento e a melhoria da qualidade de vida. Este grupo foi conduzido por acadêmicas de enfermagem e medicina, uma enfermeira e uma nutricionista. Nos encontros, que foram realizados semanalmente, faziam-se medidas antropométricas e os integrantes dividiam suas dificuldades e vitórias quanto à alimentação saudável. Em um ano, 38 pessoas participaram do trabalho, sendo que apenas 22 permaneceram até o fim. Destas, 09 perderam, 03 mantiveram e 10 ganharam peso. Na avaliação realizada com os participantes sobre o grupo pode-se destacar que seu desenvolvimento foi satisfatório, pois os participantes relataram que o ponto positivo foi o aprendizado sobre os temas abordados.
