Articles and experience reports must present Reading Literature makes it possible to know the world verbally and non-verbally, in different ways. The interpretation of books helps the subject to create ideas through the words of others, as a socially shared meaning. Thus, this program aims at in-service training of literacy teachers in the use of literary reading, as a facilitator of their pedagogical work. Under a compilation of ideas from education theorists, the educational proposal derives from an unusual way of teaching how to learn, through Literature, re-signifying the old into the new, through a discursive perspective of literacy, understanding teaching as progressive, motivational and constructivist. As a result, we understand that the historical moment should translate into a time of satisfaction for the group, to enjoy an action, the story itself, and the situation, the story, with the help of group songs and poetry, observing the active methodologies, a pedagogical architecture and assistive technologies. Therefore, Literature is an auxiliary tool in the process of children's literacy, when children are learning to read and write.
