Resumo: The IIRSA - Initiative for the Integration of the Regional Infrastructure of South America was born in 2000 as a regional dialogue forum of twelve (12) South American countries and among the various topics discussed, it was dedicated with special attention to the integration of regional infrastructure in transport, energy and communications. However, the establishment and development of the project portfolio depend on the actions of the member countries. According to this aspect , this study will aim to analyze, in the case of Brazil , the influence of IIRSA on the adoption of public policies for the infrastructure as well as where they are realized from a legal point of view, and meet the ultimate goal which is to promote development of regional infrastructure.
