Info-education and information mediation: a freirean perspective to educative libraries

Resumo: The paper presents a proposal directed to public educative libraries of the Federal Institutes in Brazil based on info-education and information mediation. The proposal receives contributions of Paulo Freire by means of theories of dialogicity which rescue the epistemic dimension of Education and Information, dealing with information knowledge. It is a document and bibliographic research of exploratory level and qualitative nature, with a compared case study in 17 libraries of the education federal network of Paraíba. It is noted incipient results about projects and policies of info-education that perform in a Freirean perspective in the researched libraries. This way, it is signalized the need for development of projects related to the social protagonism of information subjects which contemplate an emancipatory formation that deal with both operational dimensions of doings as well as their articulation with knowledge, that is, the dynamic linking between doing and thinking that guarantee autonomy, conscience formation of emancipate beings as socially as culturally, that is, cultural protagonists. La propuesta recibe aportes de Paulo Freire a través de teorías de la dialogicidad que rescatan la dimensión epistémica de la Educación y la Información, tratándose del conocimiento informacional. Se trata de una investigación bibliográfica y documental de nivel exploratorio y de naturaleza cualitativa, con estudio de caso comparativo en 17 bibliotecas de la red federal de educación en Paraíba. Encontramos resultados incipientes sobre proyectos y políticas de infoeducación que trabajan en una perspectiva freireana en las bibliotecas encuestadas. Ante ello, señalamos la necesidad del desarrollo de proyectos dirigidos al protagonismo social de los sujetos de la información que contemplen una formación emancipatoria que aborde tanto las dimensiones operativas del hacer como su articulación con el saber, es decir, el vínculo dinámico entre el hacer y el pensar que garanticen la autonomía, la formación de la conciencia, de seres social y culturalmente emancipados, es decir, protagonistas culturales. A proposta recebe contribuições de Paulo Freire por meio das teorias da dialogicidade que resgata a dimensão epistêmica da Educação e da Informação, ocupando-se dos saberes informacionais. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental de nível exploratório e natureza qualitativa, com  estudo de caso comparado em 17 bibliotecas da rede federal de educação da Paraíba. Constatamos insipientes resultados sobre projetos e políticas de infoeducação que trabalhem numa perpectiva freiriana nas bibliotecas pesquisadas. Diante disso sinalizamos a necessidade do desenvolviemento de projetos voltados para o protagonismo social dos sujeitos da informação que contemplem uma formação emancipadora que se ocupa tanto das dimensões operacionais dos fazeres, como da sua articulação com saberes, ou seja da vinculação dinâmica entre fazer e pensar que garantam autonomia, formação de consciência, de seres emancipados social e culturalmente, ou seja, protagonistas culturais.
