Resumo: Prisons libraries have been public of various social strata, requiring appropriated services. The librarians, who work in them, require broader knowledge than technical and information technology. Need to know about social technology and is making good-Training. Given this, the library school should be aware that their graduates realize that assimilated preparing basic enough to work there. The perception of these graduates on their preparation for library work in prison is the object of study. In the research was adopted interactionism or social phenomenology theoretical base. The study was exploratory and qualitative, and involved graduates of the School of Librarianship UFSC as respondents. His speeches were treated with the instrumental technique of the Collective Subject Discourse (Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo - DSC). In the closing speech students perceive a gap in training content on the prison library.

El bibliotecario que trabajará en ellos necesita saber de tecnología social y realizar buenas prácticas. Ante ello, la escuela de Biblioteconomía debe procurar que sus egresados ​​perciban que han asimilado la preparación básica suficiente para trabajar allí. La percepción de estos egresados ​​sobre su preparación para trabajar en una biblioteca penitenciaria es objeto de estudio. La investigación se basó teóricamente en el interaccionismo o fenomenología social, el figuracionismo y la Teoría de las Representaciones Sociales. El estudio fue exploratorio y cualitativo, e involucró como entrevistados a egresados ​​del Curso de Biblioteconomía de la UFSC. Sus discursos fueron tratados con los instrumentos de la Técnica del Discurso del Sujeto Colectivo (CSD). En el discurso final, los estudiantes perciben un desfase en los contenidos formativos respecto a la biblioteca penitenciaria.Bibliotecas prisionais têm público vindo de camadas sociais diversas, necessitando de serviços bibliotecários apropriados. O bibliotecário que nelas trabalhará precisa conhecer sobre tecnologia social e realizar bons estágios. Diante disso, a escola de Biblioteconomia deve atentar para que seu egresso perceba que assimilou a preparação básica suficiente para ali atuar. A percepção desses egressos sobre sua preparação para atuar em biblioteca prisional é o objeto do estudo. A pesquisa teve como base teórica o interacionismo ou fenomenologia social, o figuracionismo e a Teoria das Representações Sociais. O estudo foi exploratório e qualitativo, e envolveu concluintes do Curso de Biblioteconomia da UFSC como entrevistados. Seus discursos foram tratados com o instrumental da Técnica do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo (DSC).
