Resumo: | The objective of this research was to structure, apply and validate a research instrument to assess the impacts of social isolation on people's behavior. An evaluation measure was structured, based on other instruments already validated nationally and internationally and which culminated in the Social Isolation Behavior Scale (CIS-18). A total of 966 individuals investigated and, through structural equation modeling, it found that the scale meets the criteria of quality, consistency, relevance, and prediction, and can be reapplied. The analysis indicated that the greater the feeling of loneliness, the greater the levels of stress, anxiety, and depression during social isolation. And even though, the lower the feeling of loneliness, the greater the self-defense strategy of the researched and, consequently, the greater the hope for the future. It is suggested that the scale be used by correlating it with other constructs, aiming to analyze the impacts of social isolation on people and organizations. |

Centro Universitário ENIAC2022-04-01info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://ojs.eniac.com.br/index.php/EniacPesquisa/article/view/74710.22567/rep.v11i1.747Revista Eniac Pesquisa; Vol. 11 No. 1 (2022); 3-20REVISTA ENIAC PESQUISA; Vol. 11 Núm. 1 (2022); 3-20REVISTA ENIAC PESQUISA; v. 11 n. 1 (2022); 3-202316-234110.22567/rep.v11i1reponame:Revista ENIAC pesquisainstname:Centro Universitário Eniacinstacron:ENIACporhttps://ojs.eniac.com.br/index.php/EniacPesquisa/article/view/747/819Copyright (c) 2022 REVISTA ENIAC PESQUISAhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessFreire, Denilson Aparecida Leite2024-07-09T18:47:57Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/747Revistahttps://ojs.eniac.com.br/index.php/EniacPesquisaPRIhttp://ojs.eniac.com.br/index.php/EniacPesquisa/oai||revistaeniacpesquisa@fernandoasantos.com.br2316-23412316-2341opendoar:2024-07-09T18:47:57Revista ENIAC pesquisa - Centro Universitário Eniacfalse |
