Resumo: | In the complex environment of contemporaneity has been the education. The structuring systems of social organization are hampered in the pursuit of values based on social justice and democracy. Attention to diversity to address human rights perspectives is imperative in the present context. The purpose of this article is to develop a reflection about school as a space-time where diversity needs to bring human rights. The research conducted set up a bibliographic systematization. The organization of the article is carried out in three sections: a characterization of the school's role in contemporary times; diversity for dialogue with equality as an expression of identity; to the final text sought to focus on human rights education in contract with the school curricula to deal with diversity. |

Os sistemas estruturantes da organização social se veem combalidos na perseguição de valores pautados em justiça social e democracia. A atenção à diversidade para atender às perspectivas dos direitos humanos é um imperativo no presente contexto. O objetivo deste artigo é desenvolver uma reflexão sobre a escola como um espaço-tempo em que a diversidade necessita aportar os direitos humanos. A pesquisa realizada configurou uma sistematização bibliográfica. A organização do artigo está realizada em três seções: uma caracterização do papel da escola na contemporaneidade; a diversidade para o diálogo com a igualdade como expressão de identidade; e, ao final do texto, procurou-se focar a educação para os direitos humanos em contraste com os currículos escolares para lidar com a diversidade.
