Resumo: | This article is intended to promote a reflection on how the school can become an environment of coexistence and the exercise of ethno-racial and social relations, where children and young black men construct their identities through the recognition and appreciation of their ancestry. It also intends, through the Law 10.639/03, to promote the discussion about the inclusion in school curricula, of history and culture of Africa, the struggle of blacks in Brazil, the black culture in the formation of Brazilian society and their contributions. Discusses the perspective of recognition by teachers, the importance of enabling students to see their stories told and portrayed in a positive way, thus reducing the violence generated by decades surrounding by what is being black in society. |

Pretende, também, através da Lei 10.639/03, promover a discussão sobre a inclusão, nos currículos escolares, da história e da cultura da África, a luta dos negros no Brasil, a cultura negra brasileira na formação da sociedade e suas contribuições. Aborda uma perspectiva de reconhecimento pelos professores da importância de proporcionar aos alunos que vejam suas histórias contadas e retratadas de forma positiva, diminuindo, assim, as violências geradas por décadas em torno do ser negro na sociedade.
