Resumo: | A new social context was imposed on humanity in the middle of the year 2020. The new virus of the corona family called Sars-Cov-2 has spread on a global scale causing the disease of COVID-19, classified as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020. Since then, the governments of several countries have adopted measures of distance and social isolation to contain the spread of the virus. As a result, these measures affected the way of life and the consumption pattern of society. Many products and services started to be consumed exclusively by digital means due to the social isolation measures adopted to contain the spread of the disease. The increase in demand for digital services, in turn, directly affected the Information Technology area. This research aims to understand, albeit preliminarily, the impacts of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic on the digital transformation process. |
