Indiscipline in schools: the itinerary of a theme/research problem

Resumo: This paper aims at elaborating a general mapping of the issue of the existing discursiveness about indiscipline in schools by analysing 35 articles published in Brazilian journals on the field of education between 1998 and 2015. For that end, two large analytical frames have been selected: the modes of apprehension of acts of indiscipline as shown by research carried out, as well as the proposals put forward by the researchers to tackle the problem. At the end of the text, some thought will be given pointing at the typical conflictuality of contemporary school practices as an observation post from where it is possible to catch the always uneven, unstable and, after all, indeterminate texture of the phatic relations among the protagonists.

Para ello se discriminaron dos grandes frentes analíticos: las modalidades de aprehensión de los actos indisciplinados operadas por los estudios, así como las propuestas de enfrentamiento del problema suscitadas por los investigadores. Al final del texto se elaboran algunas consideraciones con el propósito de señalar la conflictividad típica de las prácticas escolares contemporáneas como um mirador desde el cual se puede flagrar la trama siempre accidentada, inestable e indeterminada de las relaciones fácticas entre sus protagonistas.  Cet article est consacré à la formulation d’une carte générale de la discursivité sur l’indiscipline scolaire, au moyen de la collecte de 35 articles publiés dans des périodiques brésiliens dans le domaine de l’éducation, entre 1998 et 2015. Pour autant, nous avons défini deux grands axes analytiques: les modalités d’appréhension des actes d’indiscipline mises en place par les études, de mêmeque les propositions d’affrontement du problème suscitées par les chercheurs. À la fin du texte, nous ferons quelques considérations orientées vers la conflictualité typique des pratiques scolaires contemporaines comme un belvédère à partir duquel se dévoile le tissus toujours accidenté, instable et, enfin, indéterminé des relations phatiques les protagonistes.  O presente artigo devota-se a formular um mapeamento geral da discursividade sobre indisciplina escolar, por meio do levantamento de 35 artigos publicados em periódicos brasileiros da área educacional, no intervalo de 1998 a 2015. Para tanto, foram discriminadas duas grandes frentes analíticas: as modalidades de apreensão dos atos indisciplinados operadas pelos estudos, bem como as propostas de enfrentamento do problema suscitadas pelos pesquisadores.
