Resumo: | This study aimed to report the experience of constructing two tools to assess the performance of students in an undergraduate nursing course from a public university. It was conducted during the internship of the Curricular Units of Nursing in Intensive Care and Nursing in Emergency Care. The study also introduced the tools constructed. The study methodology consisted of twelve face-to-face and distance meetings, which occurred in the period from January to March 2014 between the university pedagogue and eight professors from the under graduate nursing course. In these meetings, the evaluation issue was thoroughly discussed, based on tools existing since 2008. It was concluded that these previous tools were inadequate in some respects and two new assessment tools were developed by the group, with a focus on skills and abilities, in order to meet the needs of students at the time. Both tools are subject to future reformulation, consistent with needs that may arise. |

Both tools are subject to future reformulation, consistent with needs that may arise.El objetivo fue el de relatar la experiencia de la construcción de dos instrumentos para evaluar el desempeño de estudiantes de un curso de graduación en Enfermería de una universidad pública, durante la pasantía de las Unidades Curriculares de Enfermería en Cuidados Intensivos y Enfermería en Emergencia, y presentar los instrumentos construidos. La metodología del trabajo consistió en doce encuentros presenciales y a distancia, que se llevaron a cabo en el periodo de enero a marzo de 2014 entre la pedagoga de la universidad y ocho docentes de graduación de Enfermería, cuando se discutió exhaustivamente el tema de la evaluación, partiendo de instrumentos existentes desde 2008. Se concluyó que los instrumentos anteriores eran inadecuados en algunos aspectos y dos nuevos instrumentos de evaluación fueron elaborados por el grupo, con enfoque en competencias y habilidades, a fin de atender a las necesidades de evaluación de los estudiantes en el momento; sin embargo, ambos instrumentos son pasibles de reformulaciones futuras, según las necesidades que puedan surgir. Objetivou-se relatar a experiência da construção de dois instrumentos para avaliar o desempenho de estudantes de um curso de graduação em Enfermagem de uma universidade pública, durante o estágio das Unidades Curriculares de Enfermagem em Cuidados Intensivos e Enfermagem em Emergência e apresentar os instrumentos construídos. A metodologia do trabalho consistiu em doze encontros presenciais e a distância, ocorridos no período de janeiro a março de 2014 entre a pedagoga da universidade e oito docentes da graduação de Enfermagem, quando se discutiu exaustivamente o tema avaliação, partindo de instrumentos existentes desde 2008. Concluiu-se que os instrumentos anteriores estavam inadequados em alguns aspectos e dois novos instrumentos de avaliação foram elaborados pelo grupo, com enfoque em competências e habilidades, com o objetivo de atender às necessidades de avaliação dos estudantes no momento, mas ambos os instrumentos são passíveis de reformulações futuras, condizentes com as necessidades que possam surgir.
