Resumo: | The objective of this study was to analyze the process of professional training and qualificationfor Integrative and Complementary Practices and to propose strategies for permanent healtheducation, aiming at the continuity and integrality of care in Primary Health Care (PHC) andat home. This is an integrative review, carried out in the Virtual Health Library and in thePubMed, Scopus, SciELO, Web Of Science and CINAHL databases. The sample consisted of 13studies. The results were grouped into four categories: professional training and qualificationeducation on Integrative and Complementary Practices; the knowledge and advantages oftraining to offer Integrative and Complementary PracticesS; the most used Integrative andComplementary Practices; and, the predominant professional areas in the process of applyingfor Integrative and Complementary Practices. The state of the art on the process of training andapplication of Integrative and Complementary Practices in Primary Health Care can be known,by professionals graduated in the health area, filling knowledge gaps and providing suggestionsfor health permanent education strategies. |

Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, realizada na Biblioteca Virtual da Saúde e nas bases de dados PubMed, Scopus, SciELO, Web Of Science e, CINAHL. Aamostra foi composta por 13 estudos. Os resultados foram agrupados em quatro categorias: a formação e educação profissional em PICS; os conhecimentos e vantagens da capacitação para a oferta das PICS; as PICS mais utilizadas; e, as áreas profissionais predominantes no processo de aplicação das PICS.
