MOTOR PRAXIOLOGY AND BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU: : SOCIOMOTOR PAPER EXCHANGE NETWORK AND THE PROPERTIES OF THE MOTOR SPACE

Resumo: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a self-defense fight that has also been organized as a sport, developing different interactions and decisions between the participants. The general question of the study was: What are the relevant traits of the game-player dynamics of this driving practice that can support new research and didactic-pedagogical processes? This article characterizes the social-motor role exchange network of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and the properties of the space of this socio-motor practice, based on Motor Praxiology (PM). In order to describe the elements of the relational dynamics of participants in the game system, this theoretical research carried out a praxeological analysis, based on one of the Universals of Sports Games. The results reveal new knowledge regarding the sociomotor role of the BJJ, as well as the properties of the space of this practice of opposition: a duel without a weapon and without percussive blows; near-zero guard distance; permanent body contact between participants; possibilities of interactions in the soil.

La pregunta general del estudio fue: ¿Cuáles son los rasgos relevantes de la dinámica juego-jugador de esta práctica motriz que pueden sustentar nuevas investigaciones y procesos didáctico-pedagógicos? Este artículo caracteriza la red de intercambio de roles sociomotores del Brazilian Jiu-jitsu y las propiedades del espacio de esta práctica sociomotriz, con base en la Praxiología Motriz (PM). Para describir los elementos de la dinámica relacional de los participantes en el sistema de juego, esta investigación teórica realizó un análisis praxeológico, basado en uno de los Universales de los Juegos Deportivos. Los resultados revelan nuevos conocimientos sobre el rol sociomotor del BJJ, así como las propiedades del espacio de esta práctica de oposición: un duelo sin arma y sin golpes percusivos; distancia de guardia cercana a cero; contacto corporal permanente entre los participantes; posibilidades de interacción en el suelo.O Jiu-jítsu brasileiro (BJJ) é uma luta de defesa pessoal que vem sendo organizada também como esporte, desenvolvendo distintas interações e decisões entre os participantes. A questão geral do estudo foi: Quais os traços relevantes da dinâmica jogo-jogador dessa prática motriz que podem subsidiar novas pesquisas e processos didático-pedagógicos? Este artigo caracteriza a rede de troca de papel sociomotor do Brazilian Jiu-jítsu e as propriedades do espaço dessa prática sociomotriz, baseado na Praxiologia Motriz (PM). Com objetivo de descrever os elementos da dinâmica relacional dos participantes no sistema de jogo, essa pesquisa teórica realizou uma análise praxiológica, a partir de um dos Universais dos Jogos Esportivos.
