Scientific Literacy and the investigative perspective: : the environmental dimension in Basic Education

Resumo: This case study aims to analyze interventional actions involving practices related to socio-environmental issues in a school of the Final Years of Elementary Education from the perspective of teaching by investigation and Scientific Literacy. Based on the observation of actions through a project based on Environmental Education program guidelines, reflections were carried out related to socioenvironmental issues, research teaching and Scientific Literacy, based on studies on these perspectives. As a result, we highlight the importance of school environmental diagnosis with school participation and the need to strengthen interinstitutional partnerships between school, university and public authorities to carry out projects that promote critical education and aimed at socio-environmental transformation.

A partir de la observación de acciones a través de un proyecto basado en los lineamientos del programa de Educación Ambiental, se realizaron reflexiones relacionadas con temas socioambientales, docencia investigadora y Alfabetización Científica, a partir de estudios en estas perspectivas. Como resultado, destacamos la importancia del diagnóstico ambiental escolar con participación escolar y la necesidad de fortalecer las alianzas interinstitucionales entre escuela, universidad y autoridades públicas para llevar a cabo proyectos que promuevan la educación crítica y orientados a la transformación socioambiental.Este estudo de caso tem como objetivo analisar ações interventivas envolvendo práticas relacionadas às questões socioambientais em uma escola dos Anos Finais do Ensino Fundamental sob a perspectiva do ensino por investigação e da Alfabetização Científica. A partir da observação de ações por meio de um projeto baseado em diretrizes de programas de Educação Ambiental, foram realizadas reflexões relacionadas com as questões socioambieintais, o ensino por investigação e a Alfabetização Científica, baseando-se em estudos sobre essas perspectivas.
