Resumo: With the Covid-19 pandemic, many students were away from presential curricular activities. One of the strategies used to stimulate the learning of medical students about the Unified Health System remotely was to conduct online interviews with users of the system and professionals working in the pandemic, within the Unified Health System. This article hás the objective of reporting the experience of the substitution activity of the practical classes of the Community Interaction II discipline, which allowed the Medicine students to know and identify in the on-line modality, the Unified Health System in the context of the Coronavirus pandemic, based on the perceptions of professionals and users. This is a descriptive study of the experience reporttype. Eight participants were interviewed and a thematic analysis of the data was performed. As it was an activity related to the discipline evaluation, there was no need for the Research Ethics Committee appreciation. The results are presented in three categories: treatment; mental health and professional structure; perspectives. The results Express the orientations received during treatment for Covid-19; the questions implicit in the mental health of the population in general and the care available to workers, as well as the health and behavioral perspectives resulting from the pandemic. The activity approximated the students (even if virtually) to the Unified Health System, provided an opportunity to initiate scientific research and deepen the theoretical reference about the Unified Health System.

The activity approximated the students (even if virtually) to the Unified Health System, provided an opportunity to initiate scientific research and deepen the theoretical reference about the Unified Health System.
