From craft to professional education classroom: new teaching training perspectives

Resumo: This work aimed to understand why professionals trained in higher technology courses and bachelor's degrees are attending pedagogical training courses for teachers in a historical and current scenario marked by the social devaluation of the teaching profession and precarious working conditions of the teacher. Constituted in a qualitative and dialectical perspective, it was produced by means of a case study carried out with 50 students attending a course of this nature in the year 2019. A questionnaire with open and closed questions was applied, where the mentioned students revealed the motives/reasons that led them to attend the course. The bibliographic research had incidence in works by Candau et al. (2013), Gatti et al (2009, 2019), Imbernón (2009), Tartuce, Nunes e Almeida (2010), Libâneo (2008) and Machado (2008). The work presents the methodological path adopted, the characterization of the course and the singularities of the subjects involved, as well as the factors that are contributing for these subjects to be attending a teacher training course. These peculiarities indicate that the participants in the research glimpse the expectation of becoming teachers and seek in the teacher training course a repertoire of didactic-pedagogical knowledge that enables them to act competently and contextualized.

Constituído numa perspectiva qualitativa e dialética, foi produzido por meio de um estudo de caso realizado com 50 estudantes que frequentam um curso dessa natureza no ano de 2019. Foi aplicado um questionário com questões abertas e fechadas, onde os citados estudantes revelaram os motivos/razões que os levaram a frequentar o curso. A pesquisa bibliográfica teve incidência em obras de Candau et al. (2013), Gatti et al (2009, 2019), Imbernón (2009), Tartuce, Nunes e Almeida (2010), Libâneo (2008) e Machado (2008). No trabalho é apresentado o percurso metodológico adotado, a caracterização do curso e as singularidades dos sujeitos envolvidos, assim como os fatores que estão contribuindo para esses sujeitos estarem frequentando um curso de formação de professores.
