Resumo: The inclusion of the target audience of Special Educational in the Federal Network of education is a recent yet growing phenomenon. On the last 10 years, this expansion is remarkable, and is related to the creation of federal Institutes. Therefore, this paper is an effort to map, analyze and categorize the experiences of inclusion on Professional, Scientific and Technological Education (EPCT) and in Federal Institutes. State of art methodology was used focusing on academic works (theses and dissertations) produced between 2008 and 2018 and available on CAPES Online platform. The search used descriptors with the following expressions (in Portuguese): “inclusive education”, “professional education”, “accessibility” and “federal institute”. After analysis, we narrowed to 92 works: 13 theses and 79 dissertations. They were organized in 5 categories: accessibility; Public Policy; teacher training; Inclusion Experience; and Support Center for People with Specific Educational Needs (NAPNE). The research showed the absence of essential themes such as assessment and Curriculum adaptation. This evidence highlights that scientific works must advance and go beyond the same themes.
