Augmentative and alternative communication in special and inclusive education: State of the art (2008-2021)

Resumo: | This article aimed to map and analyze the contributions and implications present in academic research, theses and dissertations, in relation to Augmentative and Alternative Communication in Special and Inclusive Education, during the period from 2008 to 2021, from a research of the type state of art. 55 researches were identified, 21 theses and 34 dissertations, collected in the Database of the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations. Data analysis carried out from the perspective of Bardin (2016) allowed us to identify that Augmentative and Alternative Communication contributes to communicative skills, social interaction and student learning, as well as contributing as a resource for the continuing education of teachers when this it enables new knowledge and the improvement of pedagogical practice. As for the implications, it was possible to verify the lack of continuous training for teachers and joint actions to work with Augmentative and Alternative Communication in the school context. |

As for the implications, it was possible to verify the lack of continuous training for teachers and joint actions to work with Augmentative and Alternative Communication in the school context.Este artículo tuvo como objetivo mapear y analizar los aportes e implicaciones presentes en investigaciones académicas, tesis y disertaciones, en relación a la Comunicación Aumentativa y Alternativa en Educación Especial e Inclusiva, durante el período de 2008 a 2021, a partir de una investigación del tipo estado del arte. Fueron identificadas 55 investigaciones, 21 tesis y 34 disertaciones, recopiladas en el Banco de Datos de la Biblioteca Digital Brasileña de Tesis y Disertaciones. El análisis de datos realizado desde la perspectiva de Bardin (2016) permitió identificar que la Comunicación Aumentativa y Alternativa contribuye a las habilidades comunicativas, la interacción social y el aprendizaje de los estudiantes, además de contribuir como recurso para la formación continua de los docentes cuando esta posibilita nuevas conocimiento y la mejora de la práctica pedagógica. En cuanto a las implicaciones, se pudo constatar la falta de formación continua de los docentes y de acciones conjuntas para trabajar la Comunicación Aumentativa y Alternativa en el contexto escolar.Este artigo teve o objetivo de mapear e analisar as contribuições e implicações presentes nas pesquisas acadêmicas, teses e dissertações, em relação à Comunicação Aumentativa e Alternativa na Educação Especial e Inclusiva, durante o período de 2008 a 2021, a partir de uma pesquisa do tipo estado da arte. Foram identificados 55 estudos sendo 21 teses e 34 dissertações, coletadas na Base de Dados da Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações. A análise de dados realizada a partir da perspectiva de Bardin (2016) permitiu identificar que a Comunicação Aumentativa e Alternativa favorece o desenvolvimento das habilidades comunicativas, interação social e aprendizagem dos alunos, assim como contribui em forma de recurso para a formação continuada de professores quando este possibilita novos conhecimentos e o aprimoramento da prática pedagógica.
