Resumo: Technology has been innovating society in all sectors, including education. Thereby, to stimulate the teaching-learning process, many changes in pedagogical practices have been developed, especially regarding the use of new teaching methods using technological resources. This study aims to present an application analysis of the Seminar genre, using a prototype for mobile technology, in the discipline of Communication Techniques to students of the first year of the Technical Course in Events of a state college in the city of Apucarana-PR. For this, the types of descriptive, bibliographic, field, and analytical research wereused. The outcome indicated that the use of the application favored the learning of the content since the tool facilitated the production of the genre and contributed to arouse interest and motivate participation in extra-classroom activities.

Neste sentido, para estimular o processo de ensino-aprendizagem, vem sendo desenvolvidas muitas mudanças nas práticas pedagógicas, principalmente no que se refere à utilização de novos métodos de ensino com a utilização de recursos tecnológicos. Este estudo tem como objetivo apresentar os resultados da aplicação do gênero Seminário, com o uso de um protótipo para tecnologia móvel, na disciplina de Técnicas de Comunicação a alunos do primeiro ano do curso Técnico em Eventos de um colégio estadual da cidade de Apucarana-PR. Para isso, foram utilizados os tipos de pesquisa descritiva bibliográfica, de campo e analítica.
