Resumo: | A lot is said about the importance of the Amazon rainforest, but the population still poorly understands its relations in the ecosystem. This lack of knowledge can affect initiatives for its conservation. Several actions have been carried out within the scope of public policies, such as the new forestry code of 2012, the Bolsa Floresta Familiar. However, it is agreed that it is through education that effective changes in the protection of the environmental system can occur. Inserting the complexity of the Amazon rainforest in the school curriculum can encourage students, to form responsibilities for the preservation of this ecosystem. In this sense, this work aimed to verify how the theme "Amazon rainforest" can be inserted in the continuing education of teachers of natural sciences and biology, aiming at their interaction in the Common National Curricular Base - BNCC from dialogue with researchers of this biome. The methodological path adopted was a documentary analysis of the BNCC and the corresponding to the pedagogical matrix adopted in a continuing education course developed in partnership with forestry researchers from the National Institute for Research in the Amazon - INPA. The results show that the Amazon forest is absorbed with a broad and little contextualized theme, even with the advances proposed by the BNCC. This state can and must be compensated with more specific continuing education and partnerships with professionals who are dedicated to the scientific production of this ecosystem, giving teachers the support of knowledge and reflections necessary for their teaching activity. |

2020 Publicação Contínua (Continuous Publishing); e1084202446-774X10.31417/educitec.v6ireponame:Educitecinstname:Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Amazonas (IFAM)instacron:IFAMporhttps://sistemascmc.ifam.edu.br/educitec/index.php/educitec/article/view/1084/455Gomes, Orleylson CunhaMaria Inês Gasparetto Higuchiinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2022-10-25T16:23:16Zoai:sistemascmc.ifam.edu.br:article/1084Revistahttps://sistemascmc.ifam.edu.br/educitec/index.php/educitecPUBhttps://sistemascmc.ifam.edu.br/educitec/index.php/educitec/oaieducitec.revista@ifam.edu.brhttps://doi.org/10.314172446-774X2446-774Xopendoar:2022-10-25T16:23:16Educitec - Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Amazonas (IFAM)false |
