Blended teaching in language classes: utopia or possibilities?

Resumo: This work discusses aspects related to the theory of blended learning, considering the educational scope. Its main objective is to understand how the relationship between principles arising from the studies of horn and Staker (2015) and Bacich, Tanzi Neto and Trevisani (2015) occurs, which permeate the discussion that is being carried out about blended learning, seeking to improve the methodologies of second language teaching through a pedagogical intervention that reinforces the importance of a meaningful language study and that takes into account the knowledge that students already have, emphasizing the relevance of personalized teaching, supported by technologies. It is a proposal structured from a hybrid teaching model, applied in a specific context, that is, a language school. However, this planning can be easily adapted to other school contexts, in view of the particular needs of each scenario.

Tem como objetivo principal compreender como se dá a relação entre princípios advindos dos estudos de Horn e Staker (2015) e Bacich, Tanzi Neto e Trevisani (2015) que permeiam a discussão que está sendo realizada acerca do ensino híbrido, buscando aperfeiçoar as metodologias de ensino de segunda língua através de uma intervenção pedagógica que reforce a importância de um estudo de língua significativo e que leve em consideração os conhecimentos que os estudantes já possuem, salientando a relevância de um ensino personalizado, tendo como apoio as tecnologias. Trata-se de uma proposta estruturada a partir de um modelo de ensino híbrido, aplicada em um contexto específico, ou seja, uma escola de idiomas.
