The conceptions of creativity in the National Common Curricular Base of Portuguese Language

Resumo: The objective of this paper is to analyze the concepts of creativity that underlie the propositions given by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) for the Portuguese Language curricular component. This study is justified by the growing social relevance attributed to creativity and its expression. It begins with the analysis of some concepts and perspectives on the phenomenon of creativity. Following, the occurrences of the term “creativity” and cognates in the BNCC are analyzed, relating its manifestations to the theoretical concepts discussed in the study. Finally, we emphasize that, despite the frequent use of terms such as “creative”, in the Portuguese Language sections of the BNCC, we do not find a systematic and critical approach to the theme, to the encouragement and development of creativity and creative expression. Creativity is linked, above all, to textual production, especially the construction of fictional narratives. In a socio-historical sense, it is treated in a pragmatic and immediate manner, being present only when demonstrated by results, that is, in the creation of processes and products that meet the demands. The research methodology is based on literature review.

Este estudio se justifica por la creciente relevancia social atribuida a la creatividad y su expresión. Se inicia con el análisis de algunos conceptos y perspectivas sobre el fenómeno de la creatividad. Luego, se analizan las apariciones del término “creatividad” y afines en el BNCC, buscando relacionar las manifestaciones del documento con los conceptos teóricos discutidos anteriormente. Finalmente, destacamos que, a pesar del uso frecuente de términos como “creativo”, en las secciones de Lengua Portuguesa del BNCC, no encontramos un acercamiento sistemático y crítico al tema, el estímulo y desarrollo de la creatividad y la expresión creativa. La creatividad está ligada, sobre todo, a la producción textual, especialmente a la construcción de narrativas de ficción. En un sentido sociohistórico, se trata de manera pragmática e inmediata, estando presente solo cuando lo demuestran los resultados, es decir, en la creación de procesos y productos que satisfagan las demandas. La metodología de investigación se basa en la revisión bibliográfica.O objetivo deste artigo é analisar as concepções de criatividade que embasam as proposições presentes na Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) no componente curricular Língua Portuguesa. Justifica-se tal estudo pela crescente relevância socialmente atribuída à criatividade e à sua expressão. Inicia-se pela análise de alguns conceitos e perspectivas sobre o fenômeno da criatividade. Em seguida, analisam-se as ocorrências do termo “criatividade” e cognatos na BNCC, buscando relacionar as manifestações do documento às concepções teóricas discutidas previamente. Por fim, destacamos que, apesar do uso frequente de termos como “criativo”, nas seções de Língua Portuguesa da BNCC, não encontramos uma abordagem sistemática e crítica do tema. A criatividade está vinculada, sobretudo, à produção textual, em especial à construção de narrativas ficcionais. Em sentido sócio-histórico, é tratada de forma pragmática e imediatista, estando presente apenas quando demonstrada por resultados, isto é, na criação de processos e produtos que atendam a demandas.
