The quality of Integrated High School in view of the reform by Law 13.415/17

Resumo: | The Integrated High School has achieved realizations, such as Decree 5154/04 that established it, Law 11892/08 created the Federal Institutes, and Resolution 6 of the National Council of Education with the guidelines for this modality. However, the current reform of High School, Law 13415/17, can deconstruct this modality separating Vocational Education from Basic Education, reducing preparatory work load and eliminating Humanities subjects. Therefore, this work aims to defend the quality of current Integrated High School as basic and professional education, inseparable and omnilateral, raising its possible differences in terms of career, study and citizenship, with Integrated High School graduates who work in the oil industry in the North region of Rio de Janeiro state. It was found that, out of 209 people who accessed the questionnaire, 129 answered it and considered this modality a differential for the world of work (79.1%); general and scientific basis (71.3%); pursuit of higher education in the area (59.7%) and citizen awareness (45.7%). These results reinforce the importance and quality of Integrated High School because it enables an omnilateral education, which reflects positively on the lives of the Integrated High School graduates. |

Sin embargo, la actual reforma del bachillerato, Ley 13415/17, puede deconstruir esta modalidad, separando la Educación Profesional de la Educación Básica, reduciendo la propedéutica y eliminando las disciplinas de Humanidades. Ante eso, este trabajo buscó defender la calidad del Bachillerato Integrado, en su formato actual, como educación básica y profesional inseparable y omnilateral, planteando sus posibles diferenciales en la carrera, estudios y ciudadanía, junto a egresados que trabajan en la industria petrolera en la región Norte del estado de Rio de Janeiro. Ha sido posible verificar que, de las 209 personas que accedieron al cuestionario aplicado, 129 respondieron y consideraron esta modalidad un diferencial para: el mundo del trabajo (79,1%); base general y científica (71,3%); búsqueda de la educación superior en el área (59,7%) y conciencia ciudadana (45,7%). Estos resultados refuerzan la importancia y la calidad del Bachillerato Integrado, como formación indisociable y omnilateral, que refleja positivamente en la vida de sus egresados.O Ensino Médio Integrado obteve conquistas, como o Decreto 5.154/04, que o instituiu, a Lei 11.892/08 de criação dos Institutos Federais e a Resolução n° 6 do Conselho Nacional de Educação, com diretrizes curriculares dessa modalidade. Entretanto, a atual reforma do Ensino Médio, Lei 13.415/17, pode prejudicar tal modalidade separando a Educação Profissional da Básica, reduzindo carga horária propedêutica e eliminando disciplinas de Humanas. Diante desse cenário, buscou-se neste trabalho defender a qualidade do Ensino Médio Integrado, no seu formato atual como educação básica e profissional indissociáveis e formação omnilateral, levantando seus possíveis diferenciais para carreira, formação continuada e cidadania, junto a egressos que atuam na indústria petrolífera no norte do estado do Rio de Janeiro. Verificou-se que das 209 pessoas que acessaram o questionário aplicado, 129 responderam e consideraram essa modalidade um diferencial para: o mundo do trabalho (79,1%); base geral e científica (71,3%); busca do ensino superior na área (59,7%) e consciência cidadã (45,7%).
