Resumo: | This article sought from critical theoretical references, to establish interlocutions with the educational thinking of several authors that problematize and, in this way, contribute to the understanding of the school, the curriculum, the educational practices institutionally established and the society and its forms of structuring and functioning. It is imperative, in the context we live, we reflect on prejudice and intolerance in the school environment, which must be understood in its historical, social, political and cultural determinants. Finally, we see the need to place the school in a different direction, which is not a promoter of hyperindividualism and competition, but of cooperation, dialogue and respect. |

Finally, we see the need to place the school in a different direction, which is not a promoter of hyperindividualism and competition, but of cooperation, dialogue and respect.Este artículo buscó a partir de referencias teóricas críticas, establecer interlocuciones con el pensamiento educativo de varios autores que problematizan y por lo tanto contribuyen a la comprensión de la escuela, el currículo, las prácticas educativas establecidas institucionalmente y la sociedad y sus formas de estructuración y funcionamiento. Es imperativo que reflexionemos sobre los prejuicios y la intolerancia en el entorno escolar, que deben entenderse en sus determinantes históricos, sociales, políticos y culturales. Finalmente, vemos la necesidad de ubicar a la escuela en una dirección diferente, que no es un promotor del hiperindividualismo y de la competencia, sino de la cooperación, del diálogo y del respeto. Este artigo buscou a partir de referenciais teóricos críticos, estabelecer interlocuções com o pensamento educacional de diversos autores que problematizam e assim contribuem para compreensão da escola, do currículo, das práticas educativas institucionalmente estabelecidas e da sociedade e suas formas de estruturação e funcionamento. Imperativo ante o contexto em que vivemos, refletir acerca do preconceito e da intolerância no ambiente escolar, este último devendo ser compreendido em seus determinantes históricos, sociais, políticos e culturais.
