Analysis of academic productions on Physical Education and Integrated Curriculum for Professional Education between 2009 and 2022

Resumo: Integrated High School (EMI) is a category developed at the Federal Institutes (IFs) that integrates the contents of basic education with professional education. Consequently, this essay analyzed the academic productions within the area of Physical Education (PE), EMI and Ifs from the studies published at the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations and at CAPES Journal Portal from 2009 to 2022. This research features a quali-quantitative bias, with documentary and scientometric nature, outlining an overview, the implications in curricula and pedagogical practices of PE. The results showed that the PE pathways within the IFs and the EMI contributions within the subject feature a relevant character. It is noted that PE seeks its identity within the EMI, because the works identify that there is a “sportivization” regarding the contents. Therefore, it is verified the need to expand the studies on the methodological possibilities to achieve the totality of the education proposed by the EMI.

Así, este ensayo analizó las producciones académicas en el área de Educación Física (EF), EMI e IF a partir de estudios publicados en la Biblioteca Digital Brasileña de Tesis y Disertaciones y en el Portal de Periódicos de la CAPES en el período de 2009 a 2022. La investigación tiene un sesgo cualicuantitativo, de carácter documental y cienciométrico, esbozando una visión general, las implicaciones para los currículos de EF y las prácticas pedagógicas. Los resultados demostraron que las trayectorias de PE en las FI y las contribuciones de EMI dentro de la disciplina son relevantes. Se advierte que EF busca su identidad dentro del EMI, pues los trabajos indican que hay una “sportivización” relacionada con los contenidos. Así, surge la necesidad de ampliar los estudios sobre las posibilidades metodológicas para lograr la educación integral propuestas por el EMI.O Ensino Médio Integrado (EMI) é uma modalidade desenvolvida nos Institutos Federais (IFs) que relaciona os conteúdos do ensino básico com o profissionalizante. Assim, este ensaio analisou produções acadêmicas dentro da área da Educação Física (EF), do EMI e dos IFs a partir dos estudos publicados na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações e no Portal de Periódicos da CAPES no período de 2009 a 2022. Esta pesquisa possuí viés qualiquantitativo, de caráter documental e cienciométrico, traçando um panorama, as implicações nos currículos e nas práticas pedagógicas da EF. Os resultados demonstraram que os percursos da EF nos IFs e as contribuições do EMI dentro da disciplina apresentam caráter relevante. Nota-se que a EF busca sua identidade dentro do EMI, pois, os trabalhos apontam que há uma “esportivização” relativa aos conteúdos.
