LEARNING DIFFICULTIES IN THE CLASSROOM: PERSPECTIVES OF TEACHERS IN A RURAL SCHOOL

Resumo: The main objective of this study was to think about learning difficulties encountered in the classroom by students in the final years of Elementary School at the Ricardo Vieira do Couto Municipal School, Comunidade Rural Jucuri, Mossoró - RN, from the perspective of teachers. In methodological parameters, the research was developed based on a qualitative approach and was characterized as a field research. In it, we made use of the questionnaire composed of open questions, which was developed with two teachers from the areas of Human Sciences and Languages of the mentioned school. Among the authors who supported the study, there are Garcia (1998), Arroyo (1999), Osti (2012), Mendes and Medeiros (2021), among others. We emphasize that learning difficulties are evident with more emphasis on reading, production and understanding of texts, as well as regarding the non-internalization and construction of specific concepts of school subjects in the areas studied in the school curriculum.

En parámetros metodológicos, la investigación se desarrolló con base en un enfoque cualitativo y se caracterizó como una investigación de campo. En ella se hizo uso del cuestionario compuesto por preguntas abiertas, el cual fue elaborado con dos docentes de las áreas de Ciencias Humanísticas e Idiomas de la mencionada escuela. Entre los autores que apoyaron el estudio se encuentran García (1998), Arroyo (1999), Osti (2012), Mendes y Medeiros (2021), entre otros. Destacamos que las dificultades de aprendizaje se evidencian con mayor énfasis en la lectura, producción y comprensión de textos, así como en cuanto a la no interiorización y construcción de conceptos específicos de las materias escolares en las áreas estudiadas en el currículo escolar.O estudo em tela teve como objetivo central refletir sobre dificuldades de aprendizagem vivenciadas na sala de aula pelos alunos dos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental da Escola Municipal Ricardo Vieira do Couto, Comunidade Rural Jucuri, Mossoró – RN, na perspectiva de professores. Em parâmetros metodológicos, a pesquisa se desenvolveu com base na abordagem qualitativa e se caracterizou como uma pesquisa de campo. Nela, fizemos uso do questionário composto por questões abertas, o qual foi desenvolvido com dois professores das áreas de Ciências Humanas e Linguagens da escola mencionada. Dentre os autores que fundamentaram o estudo, elencam-se Garcia (1998), Arroyo (1999), Osti (2012), Mendes e Medeiros (2021), dentre outros. Ressaltamos que as dificuldades de aprendizagem se evidenciaram com mais ênfase acerca da leitura, da produção e compreensão de textos, bem como a respeito da não internalização e construção de conceitos específicos das disciplinas escolares das áreas estudadas no currículo escolar.
