IFMT’S ACADEMIC COMMUNITY RELATIONS WITH DIGITAL MEDIA IN TIMES OF PANDEMIC

Resumo: This article aimed to understand the paths being taken by the academic community of the IFMT during the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on its relations with digital media. To this end, a qualitative approach study was carried out in which three lives promoted by SINASEFE/MT were analyzed with the teachers, students, and technicians. It was noticed that the main difficulty reported by teachers and students was the lack of access to quality internet and equipment by students. In this way, the main administrative actions mentioned by the technicians aimed to make possible access to students in a condition of social vulnerability. When considering the results of the analyses, it is clear that the period of social isolation, despite having its actions characterized by improvisation, can be a source of learning for the academic community, however, this depends on robust planning in the resumption of face-to-face activities.

Para ello se realizó un estudio con enfoque cualitativo, en el que se analizaron tres lives promovidas por el SINASEFE/MT con profesores, estudiantes y técnicos. La principal dificultad comunicada por los profesores y los estudiantes fue la falta de acceso a Internet de calidad y de equipo por parte de los estudiantes. Así pues, las principales acciones administrativas mencionadas por los técnicos tenían por objeto permitir el acceso a los estudiantes en condiciones de vulnerabilidad social. Al considerar los resultados de los análisis, se percibe que el período de aislamiento social, a pesar de que sus acciones se caracterizan por la improvisación, puede ser una fuente de aprendizaje para la comunidad académica, sin embargo, esto depende de una planificación sólida en la reanudación de las actividades presenciales.O presente artigo teve como objetivo compreender os caminhos que estão sendo trilhados, pela comunidade acadêmica do IFMT, durante a Pandemia da COVID-19, com foco em suas relações com as mídias digitais. Para tanto, foi realizado um estudo com abordagem qualitativa, no qual foram analisadas três lives promovidas pelo SINASEFE/MT com os docentes, os discentes e os técnicos. A principal dificuldade relatada por professores e alunos foi a falta de acesso à internet de qualidade e de equipamentos por parte dos estudantes. Dessa forma, as principais ações administrativas mencionadas pelos técnicos objetivaram viabilizar o acesso aos alunos em condição de vulnerabilidade social.
