The research sought to analyze the conceptions of undergraduates and graduates of three courses aimed at training teachers in the field of Natural Sciences, referring to the terms Gender and Sexuality. Since the media, society and conservative discourses reinforce and contribute to the construction of biased views regarding these themes. For the development of this research a keyboard was used and for the exploration of the data Content Analysis was used, from which three categories emerged. The results show that undergraduate students have misunderstandings about the terminologies gender, sexuality and sexual orientation and indicate that the University addresses some of these issues, at the same time, they recognize the importance of working with these issues in school spaces. Finally, the research points out that greater depth is needed about the theme of Gender and Sexuality in the training of teachers, given that these issues are part of everyday life and are present in the lives of students.
