Training Workshop on the Pedagogical Approach to Creative Learning: An Experience Report

Resumo: Abstract: Innovative teaching practices are, usually, created or from older ones. That is the case of the pedagogical approach called creative learning that seeks to expand students' expression and creative thinking with the help of digital information and communication technologies. It is considered important that education professionals incorporate the principles of creative learning into their pedagogical practices. In order to achieve such competency, a workshop was offered to students of a Learning Technology Master’s Course. The workshop was intended to make the participant understand the principles of creative learning. It was organized as a didactic sequence with five activities that completed two hours. Participants answered a self-assessment and activity assessment questionnaire. The main negative point reported by students was the time used in the workshop. Besides that, station rotation needs to be worked more profoundly because it was the hardest part for students. Thus, it became clear that the proposed workshop model needs to be modified in order to be used with teachers that demand that kind of skills. Keywords: Creative Learning. Active methodologies. Este é o caso da abordagem pedagógica denominada aprendizagem criativa, a qual busca uma expansão da expressão e do pensamento criativo de alunos com o auxílio das tecnologias digitais de informação e comunicação. Considera-se importante que os profissionais da educação incorporem em suas práticas pedagógicas os princípios da aprendizagem criativa, pois acredita-se que com ela seja possível que o estudante assuma um papel de maior protagonismo em seu processo de aprendizado. Assim, visando qualificar profissionais docentes, ofereceu-se uma oficina para alunos do curso de Mestrado Profissional em Informática na Educação, cujo objetivo geral foi permitir que o participante compreendesse os princípios da aprendizagem criativa. Para a organização da oficina, as atividades foram estabelecidas na forma de uma sequência didática, com a duração de duas horas, divididas em cinco momentos. Os participantes responderam a um questionário de autoavaliação e de avaliação da atividade. O tempo usado para conduzir a oficina foi o principal ponto negativo elencado pelos estudantes. Além disso, o tema denominado “rotação por estações” precisa ser abordado com mais profundidade, visto que este foi o ponto de maior dificuldade encontrado pelos participantes.  Assim, percebeu-se que será necessário adequar o modelo de oficina para que seja replicado com profissionais da área da educação que necessitem desse tipo de formação.  Palavras-chave: Aprendizagem criativa.
