Observations on the use of rifampicin in apparently sulfone-resistant hanseniasis patients

Resumo: study was made of the effects of rifampicin treatment on 10 sulfone resistant Virchowian patients. Clinical, bacilloscopical and histopathological observations were made as well as blood, urine and hepatic function tests. The results suggest that rifampicin is the preferred drug for the treatment of cases of sulf one resistant Virchowian hanseniasis.

São apresentadas as observações clínicas, os exames baciloscópicos, histopatológicos, de sangue, urina e as provas de função hepática.
