Resumo: With a theme relevant to Early Childhood Education, its educators and its target audience, this work chose to analyze the benefits of physical activities for child development, encompassing psychic and motor aspects and stressing its importance from early childhood, from of bibliographic research on the subject. Physical Education in Early Childhood Education provides the development of body skills. Thus, the present study evidenced the importance of physical activities for the process of psychomotor development in early childhood education, as well-planned classes in the subject “Physical Education”, through recreational activities, games and activities, play a role essential for the intellectual and motor development of students.

A Educação Física na Educação Infantil proporciona o desenvolvimento das habilidades corporais.
